Summer days and other excuses

If it wasn’t for the amount of “I’m sorry I haven’t posted in so long” posts I have read in the last couple of days I would be feeling really bad for not posting for over two weeks – but I am just one more blogger with a serious Summer fever.

I have no excuse really, my days have been calm and except for a couple of days when I was internet-less I could have made a post or two. But should’ve, could’ve, would’ve, doesn’t get you very far, right?

Anyway, I have been enjoying the long summer days, catching up with friends, and family. I just came back from some wonderful short days in the coast – that will make two great posts about some of the best beaches in Portugal, and might I add, probably the world.

I was happy to do some volunteer work in the beginning of august which was the perfect start for a busy month. Then a few days of rest at home where I was able to enjoy the meteor shower – but unable to properly capture.

A friend asked me to do a photo shoot of a bachelorette party, which was a lot of fun, before I headed down the coast, where I was very happy to spend a few days in the beach and having amazing dinners with my friends – making up for all the time we spend apart during the rest of the year.

Also, I got some exciting news – finally my letter of acceptance from turkey arrived and I already have a booked flight and visas in the making. And I am leaving in a short couple of weeks to Istanbul!

So in the upcoming weeks I’ll (hopefully) have a lot of posts coming up, but for now I leave you with just a few pictures and the expectations of a proper post.

  2. I think everyone’s having a touch of summer fever. After all, who wants to be behind a computer when there are gorgeous days outside? Good luck with getting your visa, that’s so exciting! :)
